Become a Support Facilitator

As a fast growing organisation, we are always looking for the best and brightest to join our team. Our staff go beyond their everyday duties and are committed to making a difference to the lives of people with a disability and their families.

We take great pride in being able to support and empower people in our community to reach their goals and do the thing they enjoy most.

What does a Support Facilitator do?

Our Support Facilitators provide assistance to people with intellectual and multiple disabilities in their own homes and communities, with a focus on assisting individuals in their daily lives.

As a Support Facilitator, you will work as part of a 7 day roster, including evening, sleepover and weekend shifts (additional allowances and loadings apply).  You will have the opportunity to work on weekend and school holiday camps and potentially assist on our overseas trips and cruises.

We are looking for people who are:

  • Patient and understanding

  • Supportive and caring in nature

  • Able to work in a team

  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to accept responsibility

While experience in the disability sector or a Certificate III or above qualification is desirable, this is not essential. We encourage applications from all members of the community, including people from indigenous, linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds and mature aged people.

Other Requirements

You will need a current driver licence and a registered car.  Before you are able to begin work, you must obtain a CPR and First-Aid Certificate and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card, Yellow Card and a Federal Police Check).
